Product Overview

The RK3588M is Rockchip's flagship automotive-grade AI cockpit SoC, fabricated on an 8nm automotive process node. It combines a heterogeneous octa-core CPU (4× Cortex-A76 @ 2.1GHz + 4× Cortex-A55 @ 1.7GHz, 94K DMIPS) with an ARM Mali-G610 MP4 GPU supporting OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2.2, and Vulkan 1.2 at 512 GFLOPS 3D rendering throughput.

The integrated RKNN-based NPU delivers 6 TOPS INT8 performance with INT4/INT8/INT16 mixed-quantization support for in-vehicle AI workloads including DMS, OMS, voice recognition, and gesture control. Dual 16MP ISP with hardware HDR/3DNR/LSC enables up to 16-channel camera input. Video capabilities include 8K@60fps H.265/VP9/AVS2 decoding and 8K@30fps encoding. The SoC supports 6 independent display outputs via HDMI 2.1 (8K@60Hz), DP 1.4, eDP, MIPI-DSI, and VGA. Certified to AEC-Q100 Grade 2 (-40°C to +105°C) with a 10-year product lifecycle.
