Product Overview

The Tactilus TS50 is a flexible film force sensor using 4th-generation iontronic technology. It delivers 1000x stronger signals than capacitive sensors with 10x reduced creep rate through molecular anchoring. The self-assembled microstructure eliminates lithography requirements.

Iontronic Sensing

4th-generation iontronic technology produces signals 1000x stronger than capacitive sensors. Enables high-resolution force measurement in ultra-thin form factor.

Molecular Anchoring

Physical crystallization and chemical crosslinking reduce static creep rate by 10x compared to conventional sensors. Maintains measurement stability under prolonged loads.

Self-Assembly

Microstructures form spontaneously without lithography. Simplifies production while maintaining precision sensing capabilities.

Core Features & Benefits

3D Force Sensing

Measures multi-axis force vectors simultaneously. Captures complex tactile interactions with high fidelity.

4MPa Range

8x higher pressure measurement capacity than industry standard 500kPa sensors. Suitable for high-force applications.

Low Drift

Only 3.34% signal drift after 10,000 press cycles. Maintains calibration through extended use.

Ultra-Thin

Flexible film construction enables conformal mounting. Integrates seamlessly with robotic surfaces.

No Lithography

Self-assembled microstructures eliminate complex manufacturing steps. Reduces production costs.

High Sensitivity

Detects subtle force variations down to 0.05N resolution. Ideal for delicate manipulation tasks.
